Club-Supported Activities

Welcome to The Rotary Club of Cordelia!. Here you will find basic information about our dynamic, friendly Rotary Club and give you the opportunity to learn more about Rotary International and Rotary District 5160. Business and civic leaders in Rotary clubs call each other by first names because friendship and service come first. Think of us as the oldest and most trusted social network today. Our organization, starting in 1905 by Paul Harris, has grown to over 34,000 clubs and 1.2 million members worldwide. Our motto is “Service Above Self”.

Rotary and Rotarians, through the Rotary Foundation, are working worldwide to promote peace through understanding and aid in humanitarian efforts. Rotarians are working together to end polio and other treatable diseases, aid victims of natural and other disasters, help educate the disadvantaged and help those with physical disabilities. Our members along with Rotarians throughout the world are making a positive difference in the lives of peoples worldwide.

In addition to supporting worldwide Rotary projects, the Cordelia Rotary Club has a continuing impact in our local area.  We place a strong emphasis on helping youth and others in need in our community. Examples of a few of these programs/projects are our support for: Assist-a-Grad Scholarships, Boy Scouts, Student Leadership Camps, St. Marks Food Pantry, Senior Care Services, and CASA.
