Vic has arranged for Rick Vaccaro to visit this Wednesday to talk to us about the coming year for the City of Fairfield.
Thanks to everyone who donated and worked on our PAL dinner last Wednesday, and for Candy for organizing it. As usual, it was a bit of a challenge to get the kids to take their veggies but the three hams, giant stack of turkey breast, 15 pounds of mashed potatoes and the pies were very popular. As usual we had a good time — and a Christmas gift card raffle courtesy of Bob Marston.
Hope to see you Wednesday!

Speaking of PAL and Bob M. who was a founder of our Success Scholarship Program…. If you have time to participate in the Mentor training (even if you can’t commit to mentoring yet) here is some information on some upcoming training:
So do you want to know more about the RSS Program or How to be a Champion (mentor). Then here are 2 Important Dates to remember:
January 11, 2020 10am – 2pm
March 14, 2020 10am – 2pm
This training is great if you are a Current Champion, Want to Become a Champion, or just want to Know More About the Program.
The morning session (10am – 12pm) is all about how to communicate better with our students (or anyone) and
the afternoon (12pm – 2pm) is all about working with and having fun with the students.
This is a great way to find out how wonderful these students really are, without any pressure.
So Save the Dates!
All Training Sessions are held at the PAL Center, but you do not need to have your Background Check completed to attend.
Please let me know if you are interested or let me know you can attend.
Questions?? Send me an email or give me a call! Thank you and Happy Holidays to all of my Fellow Rotarians!
